By registering under the Self-Funded Category for the Youth Emerging Summit Turkey 2026, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions:

1. Eligibility

• Applicants must be 18 years or older at the time of application.
• Open to individuals of all nationalities who demonstrate interest in climate action, leadership, sustainability, peacebuilding, and global development.

2. Access & Participation Benefits

Self-Funded participants will receive:

• Full access to all keynote sessions, panel discussions, workshops, and networking activities
• Participation in group discussions and cultural exchange sessions
• Official Certificate of Participation issued by the World Climate Forum
• Official Invitation Letter to support visa applications
• Summit Welcome Kit, including badge, lanyard, and official materials
• Access to Gala Night and Closing Ceremony

Note:
International travel, visa fees, accommodation, and personal expenses are not included in the Self-Funded Category unless explicitly stated in a selected package.

3. Refund Policy

The Self-Funded fee of £550 is refundable under the following conditions:

• All refund requests must be submitted via email to: registration@theworldclimateforum.org
• Refunds will be issued as vouchers, redeemable at any future World Climate Forum event.

4. Visa Support

• An official invitation letter will be issued after successful confirmation of participation.
• Visa approval, processing time, and decisions remain the sole responsibility of the delegate.
• The World Climate Forum is not liable for visa delays or rejections.

5. Code of Conduct

• Delegates must uphold professionalism, respect, and ethical behavior throughout the summit.
• Harassment, discrimination, misconduct, or violation of summit rules may result in immediate removal without refund.
• Participants are responsible for any damage caused to event venues or property.

6. Media Release & Consent

• By participating, you grant the World Climate Forum the right to use photographs, videos, recordings, and testimonials for promotional, educational, and official purposes across digital and print platforms.
• No compensation or royalties will be provided for such usage.

7. Event Changes & Force Majeure

• The World Climate Forum reserves the right to modify the program, schedule, venue, or format, or to cancel the event due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, political unrest, or travel restrictions.
• Participants will be informed through official communication channels.

8. Liability Disclaimer

• The World Climate Forum shall not be held responsible for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings.
• Delegates are advised to arrange their own travel, medical, and personal insurance.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
• Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Turkish courts.

10. Acceptance of Terms & Conditions

By submitting your application under the Self-Funded Category, you confirm that:

• You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions
• You accept the stated refund policy
• Your participation is subject to compliance with summit guidelines and the Code of Conduct
