Eco Ambassadar Program

Be the Voice for Climate Action in Your Country

The Eco Ambassadar Program is a global youth-led initiative by the World Climate Forum, aimed at building a strong network of climate-conscious individuals across different countries. Selected members will serve as Eco Ambassadar in their respective regions, taking the lead in organizing local activities, awareness campaigns, and youth mobilization projects to combat climate change and support the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

This isn’t just a title — it’s a responsibility, a leadership journey, and an opportunity to represent your country on a global platform.

Who Can Apply? (Eligibility Criteria)

  • Must be between the ages of 18–40
  • Active in social, environmental, or community initiatives
  • Passionate about climate action, sustainability, and youth leadership
  • Able to commit at least 4–6 hours/month for activities or awareness drives
  • Must be able to represent your city or region effectively
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • No requirement for IELTS/TOEFL
  • Proficiency in English is preferred (for global coordination)

What Will Eco Ambassadar Do?

  • Organize climate-related activities and workshops in schools, colleges, and communities
  • Conduct clean-up drives, tree plantations, and online campaigns
  • Submit monthly progress reports and share stories from their region
  • Represent their country at virtual climate roundtables
  • Mobilize youth participation in local climate actions
  • Help promote the annual World Climate Forum Conference

Cost to Join the Program

Eco Ambassadar Program is completely free to join

  • Those selected for the World Climate Forum Conference will have to pay a small application fee to be considered
  • However, top-performing Eco Ambassadars will have a chance to be selected for partially funded participation at the conference
